What should I expect at Afrotech Fest?

A varied programme of events with sessions from participants across the tech industry and beyond. Take a look at the pictures from our last event.

I’d like to attend but I’m not sure I can afford the ticket price.

We’ll be offering subsidised tickets to those unable to afford the full cost of a ticket. If you’re unable to afford subsidised tickets please email us at info@afrotechfest.co.uk.

My company wants to sponsor Afrotech Fest. What do we do next?

How do I give a talk or host a workshop?

Unfortunately our call for speakers closed on Sunday 20 January and we aren’t currently accepting more submissions.

I’m not Black, can I attend/speak/host a workshop at the festival?

We welcome people of all races, ethnicities and cultural backgrounds to attend Afrotech Fest. For talks, workshops and panels we will only be showcasing the skills and talents of Black people of African and Caribbean heritage at the event.

Can I volunteer at the event?

Volunteers are an important part of Afrotech Fest. We will open volunteer applications shortly before the event.

Can I bring small children?

We welcome tiny people with big ideas. Sessions suitable for children will run through the programme. A soft play area and a nursing area will be available during the festival. Rich Mix has changing areas on the ground and first floor.
